Steve Newing?

Move on.

Gordon has gone and you were part of his coaching staff.

Move on, move on.

Obviously, with regards to whoever it is I'm not sat next to them when they're posting so I can't be 100% certain.
Just a guess.

I'm struggling to understand how a football club who replaces it's management and coaching team due to underperformance (remember, 17 homes wins in 3 seasons in this division) can be accused of lacking principles?

I can understand those affected being disappointed, but seriously, take the emotion out of the GB situation and the decision justifies itself. What appears to be a former member of the coaching staff coming on here and having a pop at the club is embarrassing and probably just vindicates the decision further.

A club that sticks with its manager for 22 years is not lacking in principals is it.

A lot has been made of GB being at the club for 22 years but credit should also be given to the football club who have retained his services for that long.

Its a two way street surely, as mentioned we've hardly had 22 years of non stop glory followed by a lean spell and dispensed with the manager. Of course with the history we've had during that period success has rightly been judged in other ways but I'd have liked to have seen a bit more silverware along the way.

The reality is GB has had opportunities to go elsewhere so he obviously believed the club to be creditable and at the same time I can think of quite a few instances where anyone else would have been dismissed had it been someone other than GB.

Whatever my views on GB's management these last few years, I have the upmost respect for him as a person and know that he would have given everything to the role . He is a man of the highest integrity.

Which is why he would never come on here throwing his toys around and if PNH is Steve Newing then he should know better but he could do worse than take a leaf out of GB's book.

Learn from it and move on as we all have to in life when things go against us.

..and despite both being affected by the changes last week, great to see Gary Strudwick and Jason Scannell at the game yesterday supporting the team. Showed alot of class.
