Wealdstone FC Video Archive

Postby craigw87 » Thu Nov 16, 2017 10:19 am

After seeing Attic's video of the Dulwich game, i have discussed with him and Alan about putting online an archive of old games and clips of the club. We found a compilation of old games that Attic had put together over a decade ago. When we imported this from the DVD the quality was very grainy and would be of poor quality to upload to Youtube. Is anyone able to help out with old games either on VHS or DVD or even MP4 clips. If you could let me know what games you have and in what format we can progress. This is your chance to help be part of the history/legacy of the club etc to future generations.

Games:
Enfield v Wealdstone-1993
Wealdstone v Enfield- FA Trophy Semi-Final 1985
FA Trophy Final- 11th May 1985
Reading v Wealdstone- 1985
Wealdstone v Redditch-1988
Wealdstone v Bromsgrove-1988
Wealdstone v Gravesend-1990
Dartford v Wealdstone-1990
Wealdstone v Cambridge City- Last game at Lower mead 1991
Wealdstone v Andover-1993
Wealdstone v Bedford-1995
Wealdstone v Epsom- 1997
Northwood v Wealdstone-1997

If anyone else has any other footage such as Cambridge United/Newport County games and more please let me know in this post.

Indeed the recapturing the original from VHS will yield slightly better results than taking it from DVD. There's only so many times you can compress a video. However there's not a lot you can realistically do about badly degraded footage on VHS.

Martin I believe the Dulwich video I've presently got is yours?? Will bring it to the Chelmsford game if so.
