I see we are playing Aldershot Town on the Sat 21st July. So that's two Conference National clubs. Looks a very decent pre season with the prospect of a game against a premier league side too.

At the very least BW appears to be getting the preparation spot on.

So all but 1 friendly confirmed

30th June- Bracknell town (Away)
10th July- Marlow (Away)
14th July- Swindon (Away)
16th July- Beaconsfield Town (Away)
17th July- Maidenhead (Home)
19th July- Uxbridge (Away)
21st July- Aldershot Town (Home)
24th July- Staines Town (Away)
31st July - TBC (Home)- Will this be either the Cardiff or Shrewsbury game?
4th August- Season starts...

Interesting choice of fixtures most of which we don't play each pre season, 2 teams from the league above. I'd imagine the game on the 31st would be against Cardiff or Shrewsbury. Any comments on price yet considering we will have only 3 home games?

Any idea why there isn’t a game on the 28th July the last Saturday before the season starts? Seems strange to have a free Saturday.

That is true...Having looked at pre season fixtures for the past 10 or so years, we have always had one. Maybe it will be confirmed a bit later?

It looks like Danny Burnell, formerly of this parish plays for Flackwell Heath these days.

One of Wealdstone fan's favourite players in the Edgware era, Simon Garner became a postman in Flackwall Heath and played for them after he left us.

We have played them a few times.

There is (allegedly) a very tenuous link to Torquay, but I cannot say more.
