I noticed that Joe White scored for Biggleswade Town yesterday. He's on loan for 3 months.

The last 3 players mentioned and their current whereabouts tells you all you need to know as to whether they were good enough for us. I wondered how Fitchett was doing at Salisbury and he can't even get in their team at the moment.

I still believe BW has got more right than wrong this Summer but there is still room for improvement.

Ricky Wellard slotted in a nice winner for H&R yesterday, he seems to like a cup game. He was skipper too.

Do we really care what are discarded players are doing. They've gone and not likely to come back !

Some people do some people don’t, nobody’s asking them yo come back.

Tom Pett scored again for Lincoln, I’d have him back.

A very former player this time. A mate at work mentioned he regularly plays (and loses at) table tennis against Ian Cranstone in an after work league. He clearly remembers his days at the Stones as he mentioned winning the Jock Law Trophy in 1979. Before my time at the Vale, but clearly made an impact. One of nine goalies to win it. Ten if you include Northy's double win.

I believe Northy has won three Jock Law Trophies. Only person to do so. Still not very good... Apparently
