Will be interesting to see what our attitude is to the FA Cup game and gate declaring. I don't think its unfair to suggest that all clubs mark things down somewhat. However if we're going to declare a gate of anything higher than 900, may as well just got for a grand. Quite some kudos to be able to claim 3 1000+ gates in a row.

Just watched U. Bolt scoring his first professional goals. Seems to work! And wouldn't he just pull the punters in.

April/May 1982....

14/4/ 1982 Gloucester City H W 1-0 Bowgett (p) - 2200
27/4/ 1982 Chelmsford City H W 1-0 Knowles - 1025
29/4/1982 Hastings United H W 2-0 Cordice A 2 - 1485
01/5 /1982 Ashford Town H W 3-0 Knowles, Davies, Bowgett (P) - 1020
10/5/1982 Nuneaton Borough H W 2-1 Churchouse, OG - Won 3-2 on Pens - 1504

Will be interesting to see how many do come along to the Gloucester City game on 29th

We used to ridiculously fiddle gates down in those days. The Hastings gate was over 2k. I remember almost every male from Lowlands 6th Form was there.

Evening matches at Lower Mead, there were some fantastic ones, but that Hastings one takes some beating.

Matchday!
And with it being the proverbial six-pointer game, plus non-League day meaning that there are no Premier League or League games on in North London, a big crowd is expected.
I see that at their last home game, Barnet only had a gate of 1,054.
It would be very nice for Wealdstone to surpass that, but more importantly get a win to get a head of steam op for our forthcoming fixtures.

1 Billericay Town 11 7 2 2 22 10 +12 23

2 Woking 11 7 2 2 19 12 +7 23
3 Welling United 11 6 3 2 21 10 +11 21
4 Hampton & Richmond Borough 11 6 2 3 17 11 +6 20
5 Slough Town 11 6 2 3 15 9 +6 20
6 St Albans City 11 6 1 4 25 19 +6 19

8 Bath City 11 6 0 5 15 10 +5 18

Other matches on today to keep an eye on the score of:
St Albans v Bath
Welling v Slough
Riccay v Gloucester
Woking v Chelmsford

Draws in those 4 please... :P
