Anyone intending getting a train down to Waterloo via Euston,
beware that Euston station is shut for most of the weekend including Sunday!

Ahem, train,beer, football...
Out of Waterloo around 10.30, local pubs sorted.
Still think it's a shame that transport couldn't be sorted for those less able etc.even a couple of minibuses from a local cab firm or similar or a list of available car shares who could meet at the Vale.
No blame attached as I know the people who usually organise things work hard to do so.
Hopefully those that miss out will get another chance next week.

Some absolute whoppers on their forum. The Northy comments seem to have been deleted but their hysterical fans have the following to add

" by Kingfield Ender » Thu May 02, 2019 7:53 am
Lets hope this time that if they lob flares from the top of the LGS that they land on their own fans"

" by JGreenwood » Thu May 02, 2019 8:34 am
On the point about their fans - as we saw earlier in the season, they have a contingent of idiots who want to cause trouble. For that game the club let a handful of them in wearing surgical masks and with smoke grenades. I know that smoke grenades and flares can be hidden but there really is no reason to be wearing a mask in the stadium, and the signs were ignored.

Yes, the club managed to boot one of them out, but let's not have another big game at Kingfield where the away end turns into a circus."

It wont be a circus, it'll be a zoo on sunday"

Horrible lot, a right bunch of Neanderthals!

Little (Big) boys with a mob mentality, abusing old people and children in the LGS.

Very unsavoury. I imagine it will be worse on Sunday."

We have to score first in this game or it will be another frustrating spectacle of timewasting, kicking the ball away and Wealdstone players in agony every time we get in their half forcing the ref to stop the game.

Lets hope they come to play and not to simply shithouse us like last time"

God there are some pussy comments on here today. FFS grow some balls people. Woking fans & Woking FC have more than enough about them to take on and beat this pisspot outfit. They took 200 to Bath - what a joke. I don't give a monkeys if they are letting off their pathetic flares or wearing them."

Dowson also claiming that he has prepared the squad properly and has a fully fit squad of 18, they are staying overnight in a hotel and getting a coach.

There is no truth in the rumour that David James has had any input into there match day attire. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/f ... s-11054621

So they have had the perfect preparation whilst we’ve been in the trenches fighting the Romans. So come on you walking wounded, they don’t like it up ‘em.

And in his interview his rationale for this was he didn't want them having to worry about where to park their cars or say goodbye to their wives and children before the match.

He did say how good our support was at Bath and that their supporters had to be better.
