Devonshire is pretty happy at Maidenhead I'd say. Has done a good job there too.

There's a man who knows how to put a midfield together.

Doubt we'd have a budget to satisfy him unless he brings Mercedes with him. Or the post office chap.

Is Mike Bassett available?

I'd go for a two Man team - Glen Little & an Experienced Coach...

Glenn is a great guy but only has a poor 2-month spell at Wingate on his CV. Think he would make a good assistant/coach to whoever is bought in as manager.

Too much emotion attached to suggested appointment of GL as new manager.

A bit like that Norwegian chap up north.

GL record as player / coach with Grays and very short term management stint with W&F do not really inspire confidence, especially as he is on record of preferring coaching to role of management.

Don’t rule out an application from Jody Brown with Glenn Little as his assistant :D :D

Totally concur. If he hadn't of played 30 odd games for Wealdstone would he even be considered to be on the initial shortlist?

A prerequisite of our next manager does not need someone who 'gets' Wealdstone. I repeat.

My suggestion was for a 2 man team - GL being the junior party to a more experienced operator...

Just remember without GL we wouldn't be where we are..

No - not suggesting that, just think he would be a 'good' fit as part of a new management duo...
