Postby Waltons Left Boot » Thu May 16, 2019 8:08 am

I just cranked up a very old email program and out dropped this email:
congratulations on another promotion!
i am sure i speak for most weymouth fans in wishing you continued sucess up
the leagues
i hope in the near future we will be playing each other again, back in the
conference
regards
richard

That would have been from the old WFC mailing list wealdstone@isfa.com

If anyone thinks some of the stuff on this forum is controversial or upsetting then the old mailing list would have given them a heart attack. Albeit in a more private environment.

Most of the 'action' usually started when Neale Harvey and Grim both staggered in from the pub in a questionable state of mind.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.

Yep Bradley Blimee, took Drumnadrochit Rovers up through the highland leagues, knows when to put an arm round the shoulder and when to hairdryer the lads. Got it wrong once and ended up blow drying hairy Jimmy Muldoon's back.

Things must be being done very secretly as you'd normally expect to see a few names bandied about, and normally not without substance either.

I have absolutely no idea who its going to be and I suspect that is the case with 99% of our fan base.
