Well done Roge on organizing a lovely day. Missed the opening 15 minutes, but great to see GB looking so good.

Do you ever stop moaning and criticising?

Even for an event like yesterday's you find someone to have a go at.

Not surprised some players don't like the fans when this is what they get. The man turned up and played yesterday. He did it with a smile on his face.
What more do you want from the ex-players?

Fellatio?

Even I find this musing from WES a bit odd.

There were some who never rated SM. I thought he did fairly well overall. Gave it his all and played through the pain barrier as we closed in on the title. Probably should have had 40 goals during that season on chances but he scored important goals in big games. So was part of the ill fated management team that should have gracefully been put to bed in the summer of 2017 but that's absolutely no reason to have an agenda against him.

I thought it hilarious that Scot swapped sides in the second half and bagged a goal to boot.
One for his critic perhaps?

A great day out and everyone had a good time.
Gordon went round the ground shaking hands and chatting to everyone, despite having had one very recent operation and more to come.
Leo was in his element in charge of the experimental outside bar.
I will say it again.
A great day.

Thank you Wealdstone.

Yes, can only echo the plaudits, well done to all those involved. Great to see players past and present on the Vale carpet or in the crowd. The pitch-side bar went down well and might become more of a fixture so I hear. Game played in a lovely spirit with players from both teams laughing at each others clangers but all wanting to compete all the same. Stones had enough chances to win it in the second half but ring rustiness saw most snuffed out, one of Gordon's more relaxed games in charge though.

If anyone has a spare program, a couple of the 'old lags' left theirs behind last night and would like copies, so if you have one to spare, please let me know and i can send them on!

Thanks to everyone that came - made it a great day.....I fancy the bar takings may have gone up somewhat late in the afternoon......

Funny how some of those who left / retired fairly recently have changed a lot as well.

I didn't recognise Pigden and he's only been retired 3 years.

Yet Dean Papali hasn't changed at all.

Paul Benning actually looked younger than when he played for us!
