I have this vision of the future.
Wealdstone win the league, but all the fixtures aren't completed because of this virus.
The league say there will be no promotions or relegations this season for that reason.

Please no.

One thing for certain - the same rules would have to apply throughout the pyramid. My prediction is the season will be extended. If not I fear it will be a ‘freeze’ and no promotion or relegation throughout. Let’s hope it’s doesn’t come to that. A key driver is loss of income that could tip many clubs over the edge
Cynicism and negativity is an easy and popular trait that is fed by failure. Success derives from someone, somewhere, being positive. Try it.

I do not think clubs could afford to extend seasons.
players paid until end of April. Players Holidays booked or work commitments etc.

Unfortunate slogan, in the circumstances !

Turvey denies us promotion and now a virus? Oh wait what's the difference?

I suppose a more realistic risk to clubs is a squad getting affected by CV19. Dare I say a bit of enhanced cleaning of the changing rooms and diligent person hygiene is the order of the day.

I have a sneaky feeling I, and others, will be climbing a tree or peering over a fence to watch us win the league. Hypothetical, but I wonder what lengths we will go to if told the last few games are behind closed doors.

Naturally I am happy to be wrong, and even an old cynic like me can smile at the fact that we got there.

Well done all. I may even go to Hartlepool.

Enjoy the close season.
