It's coming home
It's coming home
It's coming
Football's coming home

Three Lions on a shirt
We've got Seaxes too
Thirty years of hurt
Never stopped me dreaming

So many jokes, so many sneers
But all those oh-so-nears
Wear you down
Through the years

But I still see that tackle by Moore (Fergus)
And when Jolly scored
Greeny belting the ball
And Chappell Dancing

As mentioned mentioned earlier, there's some glamorous, lip smacking grounds to visit when we get going again. I allowed myself to dream before we got confirmation of promotion and looked at the possible grounds on Google maps. I have to say at ground level there's some great old league stadiums, but Wrexham gave me goosebumps.

Pete, I was at that 4-1 thrashing. A few days after West Ham had won the FA Cup. All I really remember about the Day was being in the Mould Stand, and it was baking hot

As soon as I saw your name on this thread I knew you'd have been at that game. Proper old school :D
Saturday 10th May 1980. Not a West Ham fan but for some reason that date always sticks in my mind.

You'd better make sure you make a return visit to the Racecourse ;)

I have been back 3 times. West Ham lost 3-4 & drew 2-2. I also saw Aldershot win there 3-1 (I think) a season or two ago

Its a new one for me so I'll try to get to it. Most of the grounds will be new grounds for me. I wont be able to do all of them so I'll have to pick the most appealing.

Wealdstone vs Wrexham and potentially vs Halifax, Barnet and Notts County. Chesterfield, Stockport, Hartlepool .. Seems unbelievable. Amazing.
