Fair enough. Its says this on the website but it must just mean he may go when he feels its right to.

'The club can also confirm that we have signed Alex Dyer (subject to international clearance) and Charlie Wakefield on short-term deals.'

Alex was superb in his first spell with us in Ryman Premier and told GB he would not leave unless to a higher club. Went toWelling then a Conference Premier team having been promoted. Then a good spell in Sweden at Osterunds.

Welcome back a good signing and will definitely improve our ball retention as should Kundai Benyu.

Charlie Wakefield has a good pedigree but hasn’t played a lot of games, so maybe someone who needs to show the football world he has more than just potential.

Hopefully we have a squad of players that can bring the best out of each other, as we know DB will swap a player out if not performing.

UTS, on a flat screen somewhere in the west.

3 great signings. Benyu - according to fans of various clubs - was the best player in the National League during his time at Aldershot. A real coup to get him - Aldershot fans not happy, a bit disparaging about his "fall from grace" joining the Stones rather than rejoining them, strong rumours they did make an offer for him too. Adding Alex Dyer into the midfield a potential masterstroke aswell, that top flight experience in Sweden will have made him an even better player than the one we saw before.

Charlie Wakefield has been on trial at Harrogate this summer and did well according to comments in the press from their manager. "We're looking for that option of out-and-out pace in the wide areas. Charlie Wakefield does offer that and he did well, but at the moment we've decided against making an offer." Their loss is hopefully our gain.

Our squad looks strong now going into new season and I think we're going to surprise a few..

Will today's postponement help with getting Benyu and Dyer their international clearances? I assume they would both have missed the Chesterfield game, so what chance of them being available for Tuesday, how long do these things take?
