As we do not play until next Saturday, yesterday I watched Berkhamstead v Luton Town, (over the fence, but was able to sneek in for the second half) Luton won with ease and spanked the hosts 0-9. Wealdstone play against Luton on the 26th, but hopefully will fare better than Berko.
Luton played all their first team squad in this fixture, and presumably will do so against us, rather than put out a load of yoof players, so it will be a very stern test for the Stones, which of course is exactly what we want in preparing for the coming campaign.
Pics from the game are on my Facebook page, plus a link to Luton's official match report.

As Berko's clubhouse is situated outside the confines of the ground, it was open for business all day and presumably the same should apply to the Vale clubhouse on pre-season match days, will it not?
Normally I would just ask Leo... :(

Asking for a friend, which game has been designated the Brian Collins Challenge Trophy match?

Seeing as we are playing football on Saturday - has anyone seen the new kit?

I think most people are going to like the new kit, but apparently the team won’t be wearing it until the first competitive game (hopefully October 3). I believe we’ll be wearing mainly navy and orange until that memorable day

I thought it was only the 3rd kit (navy & orange) that was up for renewal. Surely the 1st and 2nd choice kits will be starting their 2nd season, so we only need to change NL logos and have squad numbers and players names on the back.
