Jorome Slew and Wakefield possibly worth a place on the bench.

Danny Parish and Kundai Benyu are likely to start if Benyu’s ankle recovers. Danny Green is also likely to be in, IMO. And Jorome Slew has a good case for inclusion if we are to hit them with pace.

Subs Lafayette, smith, Wishart, Hughes or Askew/Everitt. Wakefield may be the unlucky one as we have a surfeit of wide attacking players.

That team could play through Yeovil but would be vulnerable to the height of their players at set pieces. Intriguing to see what team we put out!

Dear god yes - Danny G + Slew, Wakefield & Everitt.

Properly set up, a decent team and squad.

And all important impact off the bench.

Really looking forward to this one, will be fascinating to see how far away or how close we are to a side that reached the play offs last season. Real shame that Stevens won't be available but wouldn't be surprised to see Benyu as it sounded like a slight knock (from DB's interview) rather than something major.

Do we stick to our principles and play fast flowing attacking football? If so, then we may need to sacrifice a holding midfielder..Wishart at LB too as his experience, strength and pace will be crucial tonight against a very experienced Yeovil side, pushing Mendy further up the pitch. Still gives us bags of pace in both full back positions and wingers. Parish and Moses up top, moving their defenders about and getting into their six yard box - Yeovil struggled to defend balls into the box against Kings Lynn. If we go with Lafayette to try and hold the ball up then we'll end up playing to Yeovil's strengths.

Right, my ideal starting eleven tonight would be:- Hagerty F., Hagerty R., Tomkins, Noble, Carrick, Dobson, Crapper, Dewhurst, MacIntyre, Treadmore, Davitt...

Off out to survey the fields close by after yet more heavy showers this morning....

On pre season form quite a few established players need to fight for their place in the team.
