Stones live on the telly !!.... Your havin a laugh....! Who in there right mind will want to watch a Tin Pot team ?

Well.. Are they Spurs in disguise ? ...Fast counter attacking play... Steady on.

If fit does Stevens come back at Centre-Half. Maybe it s the bench for him. Chance for the squad to showcase themselves under the TV lights.
Not sure Phillips comes back into Midfeild..... Smith is playing well at present, and not committing too many fouls. ! ...Thats done it now.

Competition for places makes for a hungry squad. Get the telly on.

It was a decent performance down at Yeovil and DB knows we need to be a bit more clinical in our decision making and finishing to avoid throwing points away. I didn't think Moses was particularly great the other night and he is under pressure from our raft of strikers pushing for his place.

Might have a bit of a dilemma if Stevens is fit because Phillips was excellent at centre back but I do think we missed him a bit in central mid.

I also felt our keeper was a bit shaky at Yeovil, definitely should have done better with their first goal and his distribution at times was questionable. However he didn't do a lot wrong when he was with us last season so hopefully he's got it out of his system.

Expect a very similar game to Yeovil and if we can sharpen up at both ends we should come home with something.

Agree can’t see to much change the only additions to the 16 on Tuesday would be Connor Stevens and Alex Dyer, I’d expect them to replace the 2 that did not get on against Yeovil. Then depends if Deano decides to change the starting 11, would expect that would depend on niggles or fitness also looking at a tough game again on Tuesday. Disagree with Harry’s distribution, thought there were some clever throws to the wing backs and hit Greenie with his kicks on a regular basis, first competitive game so will be rusty.

Those 3 midfield signings were last minute, but what on reflection, what fantastic ones they are.

We might do alright you know..

To be fair he's normally decent with his feet but I just felt there were at least a few occasions the other night when you could tell the player receiving the ball didn't really want it. He is a young keeper and of course over time experience will improve that aspect of his game. If you are Barcelona you can play out of tight areas all day long but in this country even Premier League sides struggle so we have to be careful. If its on do it if not launch it. I'm pretty sure the statistics when losing the ball in your last third will show its a suicidal act and as the coaching manuals will put it an area of high risk.

Just about picking your moments.

Yeovil did press us fairly effectively. Other teams such as Chesterfield will apparently press us even more. Being able to deal with this is going to become a big part of this season. Saying that...we also put them under quite a lot of pressure especially towards the end.

Defending from the front is a given at this level.

Short highlights from Dagenham's 1-2 defeat to Barnet are here

From the video there doesn't appear to be any real pattern of play and they look chaotic at the back. I thought DB was brave to leave 3 up top at Yeovil corners and set pieces the other night which gives our opponents a lot to really think about. Our ability to hit sides on the break at pace is going to be a major weapon this season.

What a stupid sending off for Daggers - the No.9 heading the ball up into the stand to time waste when he'd already been booked. That turned the game but Barnet made eight or ten decent chances that they spurned... while Dagenham hit the bar from close in when it was 1-1. Just goes to show what fine margins there are.

The Dagenham website have on offer a free audio link for the UK & a live streaming pass at £9.99 for overseas viewers. Therefore assume BT only have sole rights in the UK.

In current times, it doesn’t get any better than this. Promoted as Champions and now in only our second game - live on one of the big sports TV channel’s.

Stones unbeaten and a genuine chance of winning. A fraction over 2-1 to win.
