So comfortable that the midfield/forward line sat down for a picnic all match... Was it Cheese/Onion Rolls!

We weren't really comfortable all evening to be fair. The positive is that in spite of this we still created the best chance of the game and lost to a mistake on our own behalf. Accelerated learning needed.

There was a 15-20 minute spell in the first half when we were the better team, unfortunately without getting in behind them sadly.

We'll get there.

We'll mix it up, I'm sure we will.

Sloppy pass which Dagenham scored from, then a poor miss where we should have scored. It is a learning curve which has to be learned quickly.
Those that learn will survive in the team, those that don't will find themselves on the sidelines.

When you create your first decent chance on 92½ minutes you can have no complaints about losing the game. Too much sideways and backwards passes or losing the ball. Ironically when we went longer we looked more threatening. They were nothing special but deserved their win.

As much as everyone contributed on Tuesday at Yeovil not many of those in the grey and pink can say they put in a good shift today.

Need to analyse what went wrong and learn from it. As a spectacle that was the proverbial damp squib.

Poor ball retention. No midfield penetration and an isolated striker who can’t hold the ball. Ross should have been on sooner. Disappointing after Tuesdays performance . Got to at least get our rare chances on target. All that said, we are of course in a higher division against better opposition. I doubt no one on this forum expected us to win and play well every week. We have shown that we can compete at this level but much work to do, especially in midfield. Up the stones.
