Best of luck to him in the future, he will be missed. Does anyone know if we are going to get a friendly out of this transfer as well?

Best of luck to him. I think he is possibly best player and ability during GB time here. We are just lucky Marvin has come on leaps and bounds to replace him. All the best Carl. Lets hope its a nice few quid.

Subject to a medical and apparently, a very good deal for the Stones.

The only surprise on this one is why it took a league club so long to sign him - he's quality.

Look forward to the Carl Martin night in the clubhouse in a few years time , get that signed shirt up in the bar!

The Wealdstone/ GB conveyor belt rolls again.

While sad we won't benefit from Carl's class at the Vale, I wish him every success. He impressed me greatly whenever he played.

Dario Gradi - a nice bloke, and an even better judge of a player.

Good luck Carl

Dario gradi has great record for taking players from lower leagues - David Platt, Danny Murphy, Seth Johnson, Rob Jones, Geoff Thomas, Dean Ashton, Neil Lennon and then selling them on to bigger and better clubs. Lets hope Carl can be added to the list

Part of the transfer agrreement is that Crewe Alexandra FC agree to play Wealdstone FC in a Full First Team friendly at the beginning of either 2010/11 season or 2011/12 season.

Are there any details of any sell-on clause?

There are but it's not my place to divulge what they are.
