By now I'm pretty sure most of you know that Stones fan and MGM bass player Spicer passed away recently.
Sad news obviously.

Anyway, just letting you know, this Saturday we'll be having a drink and celebrating his memory. Everyone who knew him is invited cordially to come along and raise a glass or two to the old goat.

Starting around 5ish at the Windermere pub next to South Kenton Station. Would be good to see you there.
Just because you come from Wealdstone it doesn't mean you are a horrible b*stard - it's just considerably more likely that you are.

I only knew Ian fleetingly, but enough to recognise he was a total one-off. Warm, funny, good company. He must leave a big hole in the MGM guys' lives and wish I could get over to Kenton on Saturday to raise a cheeky glass to his memory. I'll be many miles away but will have him in my thoughts. RIP Spicer

Hear hear Tim. Lovely guy.

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.
