Watford are away to Bristol City on Boxing Day.
That's better than the Easter Monday "derby", which is away to Hull City.
If suspension bridges are your thing, then Watford's holiday fixtures are a must.
I love the "Club 12" listing in the SPL fixture list.
"Club 12" are surprisingly down for a game with Celtic on Boxing Day.
I wonder who "Club 12" might be.
Six or seven SPL club chairmen have indicated they'd be inclined to vote against "AFC Huns (2012 Ltd)" getting back in and the, "We will take into account the wishes of our fans..." bullshit has been trotted out by all potential naysayers - but I still reckon the "Kick 'em Out" lobby will struggle to get the required five votes.
My lot will vote against them - on point of principle, naturally. Maybe the Sheep or the Ni... err, sorry, I mean, "The vermin from north of the Clyde", might vote against them out of spite... but in the privacy of a snug voting booth, out of sight of prying eyes, the opportunity for a bout of self-abuse will be irresistible to the rest of the SPL chairmen.
Given the general practices endemic on Planet Football, not to mention football's normal practice in insolvency / administration cases, throwing the Huns out would be well over the top.
Isthmian Politburo allegedly still reckon July 3rd for their fixtures.
That will only happen if the Conference lists appear next week.
I'll believe July 3rd when I see it.
