Tomorrow at the Vale...

Postby Bananas » Fri Jun 29, 2012 5:16 pm

Damn missed the 5000th post on this board by one...

Anyhoo, need somebody to lead the work party down the ground tmrw as sadly I'm gonna be stuck in Manchester overnight with work. Any volunteers?
Basically need to follow on from last week in the same style so nothing too taxing. PM me if you are gonna be there or ring me after 10am sat and I'll fill in the details.
Ta!

Was it something to do with the stone roses? lucky bugger if so.

It's the Ruislip Manor fun day today, highlight is likely to be the world record attempt for the biggest street conga at 3pm. I'm sure we can do the Assombalonga.

On second thoughts , highlight could be the Pimms tent. :P

Just poked my head in at the Vale on my way back from Manc and would just like to thank the boys today who did a most excellent job in my absence. Hats off chaps, most impressed!

You should be on wfcsc comittee they turn up when all the work is done as well but one certain person liiterally put his foot in the wet concrete, not mentioning any names but he'd put an aardvark to shame,UTS

'That's harsh' as the aforementioned aardvark might say.

The Supporters' Club and friends spliced the main brace and set sail for sunnier climes by setting our stall out in windy city. If Ruislip Manor ever want to know the best place for a wind farm then the corner of Shenley Ave is the place. We thought we'd covered the weather options but hadn't put in the gale factor. Trying to give out leaflets was exhilerating!
