Dorking appear to want to fight on -

Absolutely withering statement from them about the NL including - "In addition, and ultimately catastrophically, the National League assured clubs of further grant funding only to then inform clubs that this was not available due to a dispute with the DCMS. Astonishingly the National League could not find any minutes from any meetings with the DCMS that confirmed this. "

A decent summary of the utterly shambolic events which have brought shame to the NL. It's now time for the FA to step in and make a statement, but they won't.

Failing to respect a democratic vote doesn't look great on these clubs. However...if he or any other clubs want to take on the NL as for their incompetent handling of the finance packages then good on them. There needs to be accountability for incompetence.

And so with the prospect of a 'third wave' being threatened, do clubs plan for next season to be behind closed doors for a certain period of time? Or do they just carry on as normal?

So many people in thrall of the lockdown (laptops in the conservatory), the gov can pretty much do whatever it wants. Many people saying - 'ideally, lockdown will carry on for another year' - spending proper time with their kids for the first time, etc. Whilst we've 'borrowed' £400 billion + to pay for this, no one really gives a f*ck - their basic needs are covered. Job done.

Weird.

Anything could happen - prepare for that & contracts to reflect.

Someone on another thread asked for more information from the club.
The board have just put up an update on where we are:

A welcome and timely update. The bad news - we'll lose Mendy soon - "and realistic that in the current climate we may be less able to repel offers for certain players should recent interest in these players be followed up."

Like the sentiments of the board saying ...We will all be able to watch next season live.

Don t bank on it.... with the mad scientists/Mr.Bumble and Marxist Hindsight.... News that a third strain is on its way !!

Why did we have the bloody jabs.? .. Lockdowns do not work but kill more people.

Probably a much needed bulletin.

Cheered me up no end that comment about our sought after players.

Mendy - yes but after that the well runs dry for me.

Anyway time to tune in for the latest edition of defence v attack featuring a series of misplaced passes and cheap free kicks in dangerous positions.

Enjoy

That was an official party broadcast on behalf of Laurence ‘Lozza The Gobshite’ Fox’s (anti-lock down) Reclaim Party...
