Woking and Kings Lynn have both taken 3 points off Dover this season.

Got a link?

Here is the Wood manager's post-match assessment: 'What can I say?'...

:) :) :)

And here is Stuart Maynard's post match assessment:

While watching the feed last night I was much encouraged by the defence in particular, but I tried to not get too excited when we went ahead.
I was thrilled that we reached half time without conceding but I was almost resigned to an inevitable collapse in the second half...
Watching the heroic efforts in blocking goal-bound shots, particularly in the last twenty minutes was nerve-wracking to say the least.
Phew! finally, a win! But nerve-shredding in the extreme.

Please, please, for my nerves and heart, can we have a boring, dull, midfield-dominated game on Saturday against Halifax, with no shots on target or even near for both teams..

Apart from a match-winner screamer for Wealdstone of course.
8-) 8-) 8-)

UTS!

Come on then WES.

We won last night. Change the habit of a lifetime.

Post after a win.
I got a colour TV, so I can see, The Knicks play basketball!

Who for? Anyone?

Big man, like a lot of their players.

Not massively tall but very wide.

Took Johnny Wright out with a shoulder to the chest about five seconds after play stopped, in a game at The Vale a couple of seasons ago. Gives it large and getting larger, looks like he spends more time in the gym than GK training.

Was at Ebbsfleet before and Gosport.

Yes I recall the incident now. Wright was out for a while afterwards. The ref did nothing as per...

Good point.

If you are prepared to come on here 30 seconds after the final whistle to slag off all and sundry after a heavy defeat then surely you have to maintain the status quo after a good win.

Otherwise all credibility is lost.

Tell it how it is - thats my motto, good or bad.

I haven't ventured in here for a month.

As as wise man once said, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.

A few weeks ago I saw BW absolutely muller B*rnet, they looked so good I would have bet on them to get promotion.

I feared for us today, OK we rode our luck but were at least in the game, unlike so many performances before.

Well done all, especially Isted and Phillips.

Can someone just put me out my misery - will Connor Stevens be out all season?

Isn't he in the small group that have been furloughed?

In the clandestine world of Wealdstone football club you need to read between the lines most of the time. I would say the likes of Stevens, Emmanuel, Hughes, Slew and a few others won't be seen again in a Stones shirt this season or perhaps ever again.

I suspect Stevens will be invited back but a lot depends on who the manager is next season.

I doubt Stevens would be furloughed if fit enough to play regularly

We haven't seen him play at NL level so we are in the dark as to whether he can cut it or not. Personally I have my reservations, but he deserves the chance to find out . If I had anything to do with it I'd be moving heaven and earth to get Meekings on board for next season.
