Flowers leaves Barnet. Brennan in?

Postby BornundertheElmslie » Wed Mar 10, 2021 5:29 pm

After 11 defeats in 12 games - and an hour after his former club Solihull sack their manager - Tim Flowers has left Barnet. Brennan will clearly be back on their radar but will the recent drama that led to his departure from the Stones have blotted his copybook?

He wasn't daft enough to take the job in December, would have to be mad or desperate to take it now. If he's looking for revenge for his perceived mistreatment at The Vale he'd be better biding his time and going somewhere with a bit more long-term stability.

Depends who's story you believe as to whether he actually 'accepted' the job or not. Either way the dynamic between the management team seemed to fall apart after this.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.

Keith Ferry (is your man).....ex- Deputy Leader.. has left Harrow Council.... and is in a consultancy role foe Waites construction.

He loves brown envelopes , So dear Tony Kleanthous has a Friend ... Neither have a clue about football ...so it is an ideal match.

Barnet’s misery..

Complete mystery to me what has happened to a football club that spent 11 years in the EFL in recent..ish times. Playoffs last year too. So, don’t know what we can learn from this?

Good project for Deano but he’d need 2 years on the contract. Kleanhous must realise this isn’t an overnight job but Flowers’ non-impact was remarkable.

Take it Deano unless you think something better is on the horizon OR Kleanhous just isn’t someone you should do any business with..

A poisoned chalice if ever there was one.

As I was unable to sleep last night after our win I looked at several football forums including Barnet's.
Some of their fans seem in favor of Deano to replace Flowers after their latest defeat.

Dean is without a job so it does seem possible that he could take it this time despite all the probable problems that working there could bring.
As a Barnet fan suggests on their forum, getting paid a year's worth of salary for a possible three months stint of work is a very tempting carrot.

Meanwhile the merry-go-round speculation continues with Flowers tipped to return to Solihull Moors.
